Direct Response Program
With each new treatment your child begins throughout his or her illness, health insurance can be a confusing issue. The Clolar Direct Response Program is designed to help Clolar patients and those who care for them direct access to comprehensive support services, including assistance with reimbursement questions.
The Direct Response Program is staffed by healthcare specialists with expertise in public and private health insurance, case management, and the healthcare delivery system. These specialists are available to offer assistance and support in the following ways:
- Clarify public and private coverage requirements, including identifying insurance certification requirements.
- Provide assistance when necessary to the patient's physician and office staff with coding information related to billing Clolar therapy.
- Provide claims support assistance at the patient’s request, such as assistance with coverage approval process, preparation of correspondence to the third party payer, and assistance with coverage advocacy in the appeal process if coverage is denied.
- Screen patients for the patient assistance program.
- Provide information about Clolar to the insurance company.
